Entrepreneur Ideas

Those out of the blue creative ideas and whims.

Entrepreneur Ideas are fleeting here now then gone creative alpha state nirvana messages need to be recorded immediately or lost forever.

Who knows from where great entrepreneur ideas like creative business concepts, inventions, novel solutions or even whole new paradigms come from?

Ideas just pop into your head out of the blue.

The important thing is to record the idea as best you can in a way that you will be able to bring the concept back to life in your mind.

Ideas come, and ideas go, to tap into these ideas we must capture them and start working on them mentally till we have a good working idea of how the idea can be applied. Once we have an idea how our idea might be rendered, we need to approach the idea from the stand point of suitability, is the idea suitable to build a business framework around?

At this point we may think to ourselves we cannot allow anyone to find out about your entrepreneur idea because it is likely to be stolen, it is so good.

Well let’s reason this out. If someone steals your idea and builds a business with it that is unfortunate however there are ways to protect yourself.

How to protect entrepreneur ideas…

You could write a detailed report/letter maybe even with drawings and sketches and make a bunch of copies and mail them to yourself – a poor man’s copyright. You see if you can prove you came up with the idea first and in this case the United States Post Office is your witness because of the cancelled stamp date they placed on your envelope or package when they received it from you. Keep this evidence sealed until such time as you may need it. A notary public could also be a good choice.

With a little research you can find a number of effective ways to protect your idea/s using copyrighting, logos, branding, trademarks, patents and more.

In any case ideas are only good if you act on them, and to act on it you can’t hide it, you will need to share it somewhere. After all you need to know if someone would be willing to pay you for whatever you may develop from your idea. Is there an effective way to create your new product, or service and market it in a cost effective manner. Can your new venture be started from the position you’re in currently and can it be profitable? Do you need more money?

The most valuable resource you have is your time, you can’t do two things at once, and you can’t get time back, so be careful how you use it.

It is imperative to qualify new entrepreneur ideas efficiently and decide if it is feasible or not so you can spend your valuable time either working on great ideas, or thinking up new ones. Sometimes while you may be looking into an idea you come up with a whole new idea. Other times when you stop pushing on an idea and take a break from it you have that aha moment.

The key to success is never quitting have fun do it your way with a little experienced guidance thrown in. But mostly get started.

As you go on your journey as an entrepreneur you will find with a little research some great tools that others before you have used and that are being used today in pretty much every business that you see. I am referring to the Business Plan, Marketing Plan, Feasibility Study, Cost Analyst, New Product Development, Executive Summary, etc. Do a little research on these and other business tools, apply the ones that work for you in the form that works for you.

It all starts with an idea!
